I`m sorry to sound a bit awfull but it`s a lost cause i`m afraid. The frightening thing is that this method is now being employed into a new exe format soon to be released and its going to make things tough for us. I think that this project is way beyond what is currently possible. A pentium 200 can get through about 2 billion passwords in on day on this algorithm and so it`s weakest point is how long it takes to pass the password through the function. It takes a lot longer with DES only because the function hash is a lot deeper.(More code to execute) Lets try something a bit more possible. L8R Mushy!! mushy |
